Join the Hawai‘i Pacific University’s Las Vegas Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program team for a variety of tailored events to answer your questions and meet our faculty and staff. Whether you are still deciding on a career path, deciding on what OTD program is best, or an accepted student wanting to meet your fellow cohort students, we have something for you!
Our ‘ohana is happy to have you here, at every stage of your education journey. We have a wonderful team of admission advisors prepared to answer questions, offer tips, and guidance on the application process. Experienced faculty will take the time to talk through the details of a collaborative learning environment and what to expect during lab immersions, while you meet fellow students and prepare for the next steps together.

These webinar sessions are a good place to learn all about HPU, the OTD program, and how the accelerated hybrid program works.
Who should attend? Prospective students who are looking to learn more or students who have already applied are also welcome – it is a great event to help familiarize yourself with our faculty and program.

OTA to OTD Webinars
These sessions will focus on Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) pursuing their OTD. During the webinar, you’ll have a chance to learn about the application process and admission process, as well as discover how our program supports your career goals and personal development.
Who should attend? This webinar will focus on OTAs pursuing their OTD, but we encourage you to join even if you aren’t currently an OTA!

Our Pa’ina nights are a chance for us to come together and get to know each other in a less formal way. While we won’t be serving any food at our virtual events, we hope to bring you a potluck of activities and fun. And feel free to bring your favorite refreshments to our gathering.
Who should attend? Prospective students, accepted students, andcommunity members should attend if they are wanting to ask additional questions or experience more of the HPU OTD Las Vegas culture.

- June 13, 2024 – Fieldwork & Capstone
- Dr. Amy Sadek and Dr. Sabrina Gowette will be present to provide information about HPU OTD-LV fieldwork and capstone opportunities.
- July 11, 2024 – Business Office (pending)
- We will have representatives from HPU’s Business Office present to provide information about billing, payment, refunds, tuition and fee charges, and more.
- August 8, 2024 – August 8, 2024 – Student Panel/What to Expect
- We will have students from the HPU OTD Honolulu inaugural cohort share their insights on being a first year OTD student in an accelerated, hybrid program. We will provide important information about what to expect in the upcoming weeks leading to the start of your program.
